This annual festival features performances by multiple emerging or established artists, curated by Summation Dance. DLP aims to bridge the gap between the artist and the viewer by offering insight into the choreographic process and by providing an interactive experience in which the audience is encouraged to engage with the companies firsthand.

Each performance includes:

• • A performance by multiple emerging or established modern dance artists curated by
    Summation Dance
• • A moderated panel discussion and an audience Q&A led by prominent figures in the
    dance world
• • A mini-lecture on "What to Look For" in Dance
• • A free performance and class for children for local public schools (Summation Dance follows
    the NYCDOE Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Dance)
