“In the past, and for the most part, I have had belief and trust in politicians. Although there will always be the idea that politicians are shady and self-motivated, they are the one’s with our hopes and needs in their hands. Sometimes I feel forced to trust them because they seem to be the only one’s with the power to physically create change. With past presidents, even if I didn’t like them, I assumed they were capable and competent enough to make decisions that they saw as best for society, however, I cannot say the same for the current administration. I am constantly in a state of shock as to the actions President Trump gets away with, and I do not believe in the slightest that our country will be better off in three years, in fact, I hope that by that time we still have a functioning country.”
